by
Much like the Control Panel in Windows, Systems Preferences is where you go on the Mac to control various settings such as dock behavior, printers, user accounts/passwords, desktop & appearance and much, much more!

To access System Preferences on your Mac:

1) Click on the Apple Menu to open the Apple Menu. (For more about the Apple Menu, see this tip).

2) Click on System Preferences

The System Preferences Option on the Apple Menu is selected.

3) The System Preferences Window will open.

You’ll be amazed at how many options can be controlled from System Preferences! The System Preferences Window

Stay tuned for future Mac tips on some of the many behaviors & settings, starting with the dock settings next week.
